Comprised of 100% cortical bone fibers, demineralized to encourage bone formation and healing with handling equivalent to a DBM putty without the need for a carrier.

Histologic evidence of periodontal regeneration, including new bone, periodontal ligament, and cementum, has been reported only for autogenous bone grafts and demineralized freeze dried bone allografts.1

OraGraft Demineralized Cortical Particulate
OraGraft Demineralized Cortical Particulate is an osteoconductive graft with osteoinductive potential and optimal residual calcium levels. Can be used as an alternative to autogenous grafts and DFDBA has been shown to regenerate the periodontal attachment apparatus.
Preservation Method: Freeze Dried Particle Size: 250-1000 microns
A study with LifeNet Health’s Demineralized Ground Cortical demonstrated that DFDBA gives the greatest amount of vital bone and the least amount of residual bone (1) Another study showed that there is more vital bone and less residual bone at 18-20 weeks than at 8-10 weeks (2).
