Each year LifeNet Health Foundation host a series of events to have a great time while raising awareness and funds for our charitable organization. There is something for everyone! The 9th Annual Point of Honor 5K is going to be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00PM in Lynchburg, VA
Packet pickup will be on Friday, April 1, 2016, 11:00AM-6:00PM at Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503 and on race day at race site from 7:30AM-8:30AM.
Course map: The Start/Finish line will be on Jefferson Street near 9th Street in historic downtown Lynchburg.
Sign up: To date, the Point of Honor 5K has donated $49,000 to the LifeNet Health Foundation since its inception in 2008 in honor of Korrine Ashley Shroyer, an organ donor. Her spirit lives on through her recipients and her families dedication to organ and tissue education and awareness. This April her father, Kevin Shroyer, will run in the Boston Marathon in honor of his daughter Korinne and those touched by organ and tissue donation.

LifeNet Health LifeSavers
Our culture of support extends past our own Foundation and supports other organizations with similar values. The LifeNet Health LifeSavers is a group of LifeNet Health employees that support community outreach programs while representing LifeNet Health. The LifeNet Health LifeSavers raise funds for Relay for Life, American Heart Association, and Out of the Darkness Community Walk.

Paul C. Harris Scholarship Fund
Great Bridge High School Paul C. Harris Memorial Scholarship
The Paul Charles Harris Memorial Scholarship was created in loving memory of Paul C. Harris, son of Charles and Lucinda Harris. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist the average student with learning differences and a desire to earn a college degree with his/her financial responsibilities. This scholarship is open to Great Bridge Students only.
Paul C. Harris YMCA Camp Silver Beach Memorial Scholarship Fund
Although Paul’s life was tragically cut shore at the young age of 18, a miracle continues to take place daily as the Paul Charles Harris YMCA Camp Silver Beach Memorial Scholarship Fund grows. These funds are invested with the YMCA of South Hampton Roads endowment in a designated fund, in honor or Paul, with the sole purpose of providing financial assistance for children to attend YMCA Camp Silver Beach on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, just as Paul did.
