Recognizing Excellence in Organ Donation Support

Presented by LifeNet Health, The Spark Awards honor hospital staff, community advocates, and partners whose leadership, compassion, and commitment have made a measurable impact on organ donation and transplantation. The award represents the “spark” that drives lifesaving change, moments of advocacy, action, and support that help give patients and families a renewed chance at life.


Nominations are accepted year-round from hospital staff, LifeNet Health employees, and community members, with recipients selected on a rolling basis by a LifeNet Health review committee. To preserve the distinction of recognition, a maximum of 50 individuals are honored each year. Every recipient has demonstrated exceptional dedication and meaningful contributions to advancing organ donation within their hospital or community.


Honorees receive an official Spark Award challenge coin and certificate of recognition.
